![]() I turned the settings all to low/off, and away we went. I get the 20-30 FPS I get in every game and have never been fussed about. ![]() I figured a lot of the original KSP1 market was similar-ish to me, and thought they'd really blown it with the specs.īut with maybe 2 hours of play today, I've had no problems on my laptop with a mobile-spec 1660ti. I don't put my budget at my gaming, and prefer a laptop because I take my stuff with me, and I don't have anywhere good for a desktop anyway. I'm a dad gamer, with a lousy gaming laptop from 3 years ago. ![]() I've discovered I had the right target audience, but perhaps the wrong interpretation of the game's minimum specs in relation to the group. That being said, $50 isn’t a deal breaker for me If KSP1 had cost that at launch I’d still feel I got my monies worth of the hundred of hours I put into it across a decade of playing. Take the exa-solar features on the road map and make that paid post-launch DLC down the road. It would allow them to give the community some access without risking poor user reviews (as of this writing, feedback is ‘mixed’ on Steam…its now going to be a long term uphill battle to reverse that perception) and without the (not entirely invalid) criticism that comes from such a high price tag for such an incomplete indi-ish title.Įdit: I’ll also say that I’d be more confident if it launched at a lower price, albeit with a less aggressive road map for whats ultimately to be included in that price. It certainly sounds like what we currently have today would have been a good fit there. To wit, A few weeks back Steam had Next-Fest which had lots of playable demos that only lasted roughly a week before they were remotely closed. I generally agree with your way of thinking, but based on how bumpy things seem to be at EA launch, “a year or two” seems pretty optimistic, especially given this EA launch was already delayed a year, and how expansive their road map is.Īnd based on what I’m reading from users here, and STEAM reviews so far, they REALLY should have launched this as a free pre-alpha demo. Of course, there are already so many post flairs to use when posting your experiences in-game such as Achievement, Landing and Boom-Boom so make sure you posts your creations (or wreckages) onto here! Again, thank you so much for the recent support of the subreddit! We're very greatful to have over 6k members on here and we hope you enjoy playing KSP 2! If you get stuck with something or can't get the game to work, this is the flair to use for your tech related questions where the community can help you out! This is for videos, images or anything media related that you may have made and you want to show off to everyone on here! This is for vehicles or anything that you've done in-game that you might want to show off on here! I thought it'd be nice to have some more flairs tailored towards the actual game so I added: I must ask you to make sure your user flairs are not offensive or you may face a ban. You can now customise your user flair! You can add text and emojis to your flair (in which there are a few custom made ones for this subreddit!). To celebrate the release of Early Access, I thought I'd add a couple of things to the subreddit!:
